Pasteur-Weizmann Servier Prize

Since 2003 L’Institut Servier has partnered with the Institut Pasteur/Weizmann Institute of Sciences Council to award the Pasteur-Weizmann/Servier International Prize (250,000 euros) to a researcher, a medical doctor or a scientist for major contribution to a biomedical discovery determining a major therapeutic application.

The Scientific Committee of the Prize is made up of scientists from the Pasteur Weizmann Council, scientists from the Institut Servier and 3 international experts in the field selected by the executive prize committee

The 8th Pasteur-Weizmann/Servier Prize was officially awarded to the 2024 winner at a symposium dedicated to rare childhood diseases on 9 January 2025.

Servier Prize Laureate

On January 9, 2025 at the Institut Pasteur (Paris), the Pasteur-Weizmann/Servier Prize was awarded to Professor Valérie Cormier-Daire, a paediatrician in the medical genetics department of the Hôpital Necker-Enfant-Malades and Inserm research Director of the Institut Imagine.

This international Prize, dedicated this year to rare children genetic diseases, rewards the career of this clinical researcher, devoted to the study of dysfonctional bone development and the therapeutic options that can be identified accordingly.
