Support for the iTOX Symposium
Immunotherapies have profoundly transformed the management of many cancers, but their adverse effects represent a major challenge for clinicians and researchers alike. The iTOX Symposium, whose 7th edition was held on 22 and 23 May 2024 at the Faculty of Medicine of Université Paris-Saclay in Bicêtre, is dedicated to the study of these immune-related toxicities and to improving associated management strategies.
Organized by Institut Gustave Roussy in collaboration with several academic and hospital partners, this event brings together each year physicians, pharmacists and researchers from academic and industrial settings. It provides a dedicated working environment for sharing scientific and clinical advances, identifying the biological mechanisms involved in immunotherapy-related toxicities, and developing appropriate therapeutic responses.
L’Institut Servier’s support for the iTOX Symposium contributes to establishing a space for exchange that fosters dialogue between specialists, the advancement of translational research in immunotoxicology, and the development of the knowledge needed for optimal management of adverse effects of anti-cancer treatments.
